A Corporate Master Plan is an hybrid of all Master Plans.
But let's define the term corporate in order to establish our Corporate Master Plan.
1. From Middle English corporat, corporate (a verb in the Middle English Dictionary but “this may be a true adjective” was added as a note), from Latin corporātus, past participle of corporāre (“to make into a body”), which in turn was formed from corpus (“body”).
In this context, how can an individual, a family or community form a "body"? Here we can understand that any individual or group of individuals can form a body by entering into a legal or binding agreement that carries consequences if the terms are not honored.
Understanding Honor
Here we must also understand that the formation of a legal or corporate body requires more that just a verbal or written agreement for such body to accomplish what it was designed to do. The corporate body is doomed for destruction if all partners are not honorable individuals who can be respected for the words to which they agree.
Hence a deeper understanding is necessary for the corporate agreements to become truly binding for the desired accomplishment.
The term here is embodied in the Greek word: Philotimo.
2* Philotimo (also spelled filotimo; Greek: φιλότιμο) is a Greek noun that has the literal translation of "love of honor". However, philotimo is difficult to translate as it describes a complex array of virtues.
Hence an effective and successful Corporate Master Plan will require all parties involved be individuals who posses a "love of honor".
